I have become accustomed to all the questions people naturally ask: How did that happen? Do they really need a chief rabbi? Who appointed you? What do you do? Are there really any Jewish folks in Saudi Arabia? 

Here is my story.

In 2021  I arrived and set up shop.  Creating the path of building the a Jewish community in the most important and powerful country Arab country in the world - The Custodian of the 2 Most Holy Places to Islam , which became public in articles in The Wall Street Journal and in The Times of Israel, Financial Times, The Economist  in late 2021. Most Lately the National News UAE. 

 Even as I write these words, I can hardly believe I the things that have happened to me. But these stories are not about me, not just about the Jews in Saudi Arabia, but also about global Jewry and the world. With Vision 2030 lead by HRH CP PM Mohamed Ben Salman, we are not commemorating the cessation of hostilities; we are celebrating a family reunion, a bond of trust, and a shared mission to the world.  

In my talking engagements I share an unique perspective built on my experience growing up in New York city Greenwich village, as a Captain Res. IDF, Combat in the Security Zone, 2nd Lebanese war,  and currently as the Dept. Rabbi Chaplain of the Ariel Sharon IDF training center, Israel's largest Army base.
